It appears that we shall not be able to get the sheetmetal brake carriers in duralumin. We have got the simple one of the pair, but the suppliers are having great difficulty with the dished ones.

The pattern for the aluminium one will not be completed until another 4 or 5 days. This pattern is being made outside because our own shop is full up with aero engine work.

We have machined the front axle on 8-EX and have saved approximately 10 lbs. in weight.

We propose visiting W.W. on Tuesday next the 20th. with 8-EX car.
