S/W. (Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}) ~~G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp}~~ to Lillie Hall. 84678. Fn3/1/2-4-32. W Henley We are sending you from Lillie Hall a tyre which has been presented to us by Sir George Sutton, to whom we recently supplied a 40/50 car and who is the Chairman of the Company which manu-facture the Henley tyre. Sir George Sutton's idea, of course, is that we shall try the tyre and tell him what we think of it and as he is a recent purchaser of a 40/50 car, we cannot very well refuse to do what he asks, although there is, of course, ~~no hope of our using Henley~~ tyres. It may, however, be of interest to you to try the tyre against the Dunlop, both from the point of view of silence and non-skidding properties. When you have done ~~so~~, we shall be very interested to hear what you think of it. Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} A [Stamp] RECEIVED 1932 APR | ||
