x8796 C. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD/ML1.7.26. WATFORD MAGNETO. In order to carry the experiments on the Watford Magneto a stage further it is desired to move the armature sleeve relative to its end bearing so that with the ignition lever midway the sleeve is in the position of full advance and the range of the sleeve will therefore be from neutral to extra fully advanced. We attach hereto 1 print of D.1947 shewing how this can be done and are returning to EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} the magneto, he in turn will no doubt dismantle same and send you the sleeve for modification. BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD. Sleeve modified by R.H.C.
