Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd., DERBY. WST Dear Sirs, For the attention of H.T.West Esq. Re: Electric Revolution Indicators. Further to our Mr. Nichols letter of the 13th inst, we shall be glad if you will let us know the approximate speed at which the generator will be driven, so that we can put a suitable generator in hand immediately. We have pleasure in enclosing herewith blue prints X.40775, X.40137, X.40231 and X.40687 showing outline of existing generators and shall be glad if you will indicate which of these you consider would be most suitable. If the generator drive is comparatively slow it might be necessary to supply a special geared up generator. With regard to the instrument, will you kindly advise us whether you prefer this 3½" or 5" diameter. Yours faithfully, for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.
