Could you please produce for us a curve of
acceleration figures on the various gears. We think this
will be very useful and helpful in discussing this car with
various people.

Also, as you know, from time to time there
are published in the technical journals accounts of tests
of other cars in which acceleration figures are shown, and
it might be a useful guide if we could have results on the
same basis, as well as any additional figures you may care
to give us. These results seem to be somewhat on the
following lines :-

From rest to 50 m.p.h. through gears
" " " 60 " " "
" " " 70 etc " " "

10 - 30 on top
20 - 40 " "
30 - 50 " "

Possibly, however, your curve of acceleration
would show all these and a good deal more besides.

Will you please let us know if you have
such figures, and if not whether you could procure them for us.
