Edwards}/AUTO 3rd. January. 1935. Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited, DERBY. For the attention of Mr. W.A. Robotham Dear Sirs, Our Automotive Engineer, Mr. J.R. Sharp has informed us of his recent conversation with you, concerning the proposed tests on the Bentley racing engine which you are preparing for Mr. E.R. Hall of Huddersfield, and we understand that you are willing to test Mobiloil on this unit. As you probably know, Mr. Hall is very keen to use Mobiloil in his racing engines subject to your approval. We believe that, as you have to consider the choice of an oil which will be suitable for high oil temperature conditions, your choice would be our Aero Mobiloil Green Band, and accordingly, we are attaching hereto the physical readings for this grade, and we should be willing to supply the necessary quantity for test purposes, if you would be kind enough to specify your requirements. On the specification sheet attached, you will also find readings for Aero Mobiloil Red Band, which grade also meets the Air Ministry DTD.109 specification. Both these oils will shortly be introduced to aircraft users in this country, and will have world-wide distribution for use in aircraft engines. Being manufactured under an entirely new process gives these oils certain advantages, namely - P.T.O. UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE ALL OILS ARE QUOTED AND INVOICED PER UNIT GALLON OF 9 LBS. AND ALL QUOTATIONS ARE WITHOUT ENGAGEMENT | ||
