W/S Sp.{Mr Spinney} from Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} X4084 Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}1/LG18.2.22. X4219 X3730 RE - 3 "GOSHAWKS" FOR 10,000 MILES TRIAL. It is proposed to fit the 3 "Goshawks" for the 10,000 miles trial with the remaining three bodies which are in the hands of the Coachbuilders - as follows:- Gynne all-weather. Mulliner - open-touring. Saloon Body. All these cars should be fitted with luggage grids and we should be glad if you will please arrange to have them so fitted. Further, it is intended to fit the three cars with wire wheels and as we have no spare wheel carrier designed, it will be necessary to arrange to carry the spare wheels in some other position. We suggest, therefore, that provision be made to carry 2 spare wheels in the usual position on the running boards. We should be glad to hear whether this can be conveniently arranged so that it will not interfere with the doors of the body. Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} [Watermark: MANSFIELD AT CROXLEY] | ||
