| To BY/SS.{S. Smith} x208 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}19/KW.21.10.35. Large Bore Bentley (Induction System). With reference to the larger S.U. carburetters (1.625" throttle bore) which you are detailing. As you are aware, we are still carrying out tests relative to the large type float chambers. These tests are prompted by the fact that it is possible for this type of float mechanism to jamb when the float chambers are emptied. In the event of these float chambers in question being standardised, we suggest that some means is immediately incorporated to overcome this possibility of jambing. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/C.T.
