Ck.{Mr Clark} from EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} c. to Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} [struck through] c. to WD.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} [struck through] X.3741. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/T19/F16.1.20. X 3741. RE. HYDROMETERS. With reference to Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}'s memo. to you Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}4/W16120 I should like to know what type of the above is recommended for this job. I am anxious that a good one should be supplied, and am certainly of the opinion that it would be better not to supply [handwritten insertion: at all than to supply one] one of the many cheap varieties which are advertised. Will Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} please see that sufficient are ordered to cover chassis already delivered, and instruct for these to be supplied to me on arrival so that I can arrange to have them sent out for chassis delivered.
