Will you kindly find out which make of Chassis Sales would like us to have as a guide for the proportions of the "Swallow".

We have already fixed up our chief dimensions of:-

(a) HP. 11.9-12.HP - 1500 CC. 6.cyc. 2.2 bore, and 4.5 stroke.
(b) Track 52".
(c) Room for body behind dash 99".
(d) Size of wheels 760 X 90 to 100.
(e) Wheel-base 9' 6".
(f) Dash-board to centre of rear axle 82.25".
(g) Dash-board to centre of rear wheel 67".
(h) Dash-board to back of steering wheel 32.5".
(i) Height of frame from ground 19".
(j) Height of Steering wheel from frame 20".

We have looked over the lists and preferred a Continental one (French) but could find nothing so near our proposed schemes of construction as the smaller 10.HP. D.F.P.*

I would purchase one of these with a 2 seater body for my own use if Sales think this is the best thing we could have, and Messrs. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} agree after inspection. I should want it about the middle of March - it has a 4 cyl. engine which will do.

I do not like the scheme of wire wheels shewn in the D.F.P. Catalogue for this chassis, and would prefer disc. Also the body must have a proper windscreen and hood which when up is attached to the windscreen, and weath-
