Development L.H. Silver Phantom.
Minutes of Meeting held at Clan Exptl.
Saturday May 24th. 1940.

To produce the up-to-date L.H. Silver Phantom Exptl: Model, the following changes were agreed to the specification, issue No.1.

Brief Specification (Page 1.)

Engine. (a) Only change "Electrically Operated Choke" to "Hot spot choke".
(b) Add water pump with modernised gland & bearing.
(c) "Flat rubber front engine mounting" to be added.

Gearbox.(a) "L.H. Side levers" changed to"L.H. Steering column control".
(b) "Semi floating axle 11/41" change to "Revised semi floating axle with strengthened centre casing, 11/41 ratio".
(c) Add to "56 rear springs" - welded on spring seats.

Frame. (a) Bent front pan" to read"revised bent front pan".
(b) Front track, change to 58.25.
(c) "22 gall. petrol tank" change to 22 gall. lightened petrol tank with electric petrol reserve tap and single wire gauge.
(d) Add "Three bolted front shock damper with alum casing.
(e) Delete "Bijur Pump".
(f) Add L.H. Pedals.
