On the run it was noticed that there was rather a lot of misfiring on battery ignition. The tungsten points were examined and it was found that the point on the screw had a piece projecting fully .02" while the point on the blade had a hole to correspond. After cleaning the points up the misfiring ceased altogether. The slow running does not seem to be affected in the least. The battery ignition has been used a good deal both by itself and with the magneto. Examined magneto distributor and wiped out a small amount of carbon dust.

Today the car has run to Avignon. On a good surface straight road the best I can get is 60 m.p.h. engine pulls fairly well but will not turn over fast. K.L.G. plugs fitted to battery ignition. The Lodge plugs were quite good and clean when taken out and have run very well indeed.
