5th. December, 1938.

S.S. Cars Ltd.,
Holbrook Lane,
COVENTRY.

Dear Sirs,

We are returning our 3½ Litre Jaguar as arranged with Mr. Morley of Messrs. Sanderson & Holmes and Mr. Lyons.

The pistons and various engine parts are to be found in the rear of the body.

Will you please note that the reverse gear comes out in about one yard, although the selector springs have been adjusted to the maximum, also the gears are very noisy.

We do not wish to engine bearings to be touched when the engine is re-assembled.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
