Naturally crane work has to be lubricated with an oil can, but to prolong the feed and to prevent dirt entering I prefer to use a wick lubricator in important places: this has always given satisfaction.

It is possible that some day buyers will ask for their cranes to be fitted with nipples for the screw plunger type.

All this is written on the understanding that your new designs shall be arranged for thick fluid oil which we have found to be the most lasting type of lubricant for slow moving parts, such as car details of springs and shackles, universal joints, steering pivots, worms, and ball ends.

Yours faithfully,

(Sgd) F.{Mr Friese} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} ROYCE.
