Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} S/W By X8400 C2/024.2.26. Will you fix this up Side Members with Extension for Luggage Grid on "New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I." By/C1/H19.2.26. ----- By 26-2-26 The following is extract from the Minutes of the Sales Conference held on the 23rd inst:- "By/C1/H19.2.26. was read, making suggestions in regard to the rear end of the frame. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} thinks that if the bracket designed to carry the grid is left on it will not be necessary to saw off the projecting length of frame member, and this will, therefore, always be available in case the customer wishes to fit a grid later on. It was decided we should ask the Works to send us up their Experimental car No. 8-EX, which is at present covering distance, with the ends of the frame members left as suggested by By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} for the CSC. to examine. BJ. would also like to see this when it arrives." Could you kindly arrange this with Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}? C. | ||
