X3531. To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/MJ.20.1.32. TWO LITRE "BALLOT" CAR. Replying to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}23/E15.1.32. I have discussed this matter with E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} and he is of the same opinion as ourselves, that this car is of very little interest to us. We know, more or less, from the technical descriptions what this car is like, and can anticipate the performance. The fact that the owner states that it has no acceleration and can average 35 m.p.h. gives the sort of performance we should expect. We could arrange for Mr. Grylls to try this car on Saturday. We think that he could obtain all the details which would interest us. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
