3rd. June 1938.

Messrs. John Marston Ltd.,
WOLVERHAMPTON.

For the attention of Mr.Dunn.

Dear Sirs,

Further to our discussion about radiator shell contours yesterday, will you please hold up work on 2.B.3. shells which you are completing until you hear further from us. We are investigating the discrepancy between the top of the Bentley II and Bentley III type shells. We have forwarded to you the necessary lamp support tubes and brackets which have unfortunately been omitted previously, and are also sending you the necessary fixing screws.

Herewith please find list of parts for the Bentley 50 radiator which will serve to guide you as regards the purpose of the various bolts, nuts, fittings etc. which have been forwarded. The items crossed out refer to the previous Bentley 50 radiator which, as you know, was abandoned. This list of parts is not complete in every detail but will be of assistance to you, we think.

With regard to the position of the plates spot welded to the yoke which tie up with the shell and bonnet rest strips, the position in which you have fixed them will be satisfactory, but, if possible, we would like the two top holes in each plate through which pass the shell securing bolts to be drilled for 2.B.A. bolts and not .250 as shown on scheme. We shall be sending you the necessary 2.B.A. bolts for these plates.

We wish you to do your utmost to keep the despatch promise for the Bentley 50 radiator which you gave the writer yesterday, namely, despatch on Wednesday to us.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
