X4545 X4219 We have received a message from Mr. Barnes saying that the finish of the paint was not sufficiently good and that we should work day and night to get the car to London in the earliest time in order that the paint work can be improved. We cannot possibly do any more than is being done to get this car away complete as soon as possible. It will leave here on Monday in charge of your drivers - either Mr. Fleck or Mr. Boot - or both. In view of your memo. BJ6/H29.9.22. We will instruct them to take the car direct to London. We have advised Mr. Royce that the car will not be going to W.W. If the paint work is to be re-done on 4-Goshawk-11, we think it should be done the colour chosen by Mr. Royce. We are sending you herewith a Book of colours. The colour he has chosen is the Burnt Turkey Umber on page 15. This, he considers, the best colour to go with the colour of the upholstery on 4-Goshawk-11.
