To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} +201 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}4/KW.18.5.35. Bentley Front Axle with 14" Drums. The above has been returned from France with the axle twisted. We want to find out why this has happened, and to try out the 14" drums of light section you have already made. Will you please build up the 14" carrier plates, shoes etc. on a new axle and fit same with the light section drums. Will you also cut down the lining arc to 105°, by cutting 0.8" of lining off each end of the shoes, at the same time supporting the projecting pieces of Ferodo by extra rivets.
