We are in receipt of your letter of the 13th inst., and very much regret to hear of the trouble with the back axle of this Car.

We shall be glad to know if you have any idea as to how this occurred, as this is such an extraordinary thing to happen, and we can only think that the trouble has been caused by the driver attempting to start by bracking up his engine and letting the clutch in with the hand-brake hard on.

We have in stock a new crown wheel and pinion and shall be glad to know what you wish us to do in the matter, as you can rely upon us doing everything in our power to put the matter straight.
