For the attention of S.H.Grylls, Esq.

9th October, 1939.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to your letter of the 14th September, ref: Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}4/MH{M. Huckerby}, in which you were good enough to agree our proposals for the supply of 4.00x17 rims with a modified valve arrangement, as a part of the valve tooling for the 3.62 and 4.00 rims is common, we think you would wish to be advised that we are incorporating the modified valve arrangement on 3.62 sections also.

This rim is not being supplied to you for first equipment, but we take it that in the case of replacement wheels this arrangement would not cause any inconvenience.

Yours faithfully,
For DUNLOP RUBBER COMPANY, LIMITED.
