INDIA 4 - FRONT AXLE.

Herewith we send N.sch.2738/42 shewing the front axle with 1.750" offset, and dropped .5" lower than standard. This axle also has axle control.

Almost all the brake parts are the same as now, and so are the hubs and locking device.

A slight modification is required to the rear brake drum to accommodate the rebuilt wire wheel, of which we will send you particulars in a few days. It is almost certain however that this axle will be used in conjunction with hypoid rear axle on the lines of SS.{S. Smith}
