Waller - Head of Chateauroux}.4/AP.20.10.37. JOOA 32-EX. PHANTOM III. Unit 13 Will you please re-build this car, incorporating the following features:- 1. Engine unit No.13. re-built to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swd.17/JH.5.10.37. and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swd.7/AP.25.10.37., with standard flywheel modified to GCD.158 before fitting. Standard clutch specified to be replaced by new increased inertia clutch when this is ready, which must be before engine goes in chassis. 2. Existing radiator and shutters with new matrix to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. Existing hose connections. Steam valve scheme to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}417 set to blow at 2 1/2 lbs/sq. in. 5/16" dia. escape pipe. 3. Fan with double belt drive to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 4. Water pump with special packing to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. instructions. 5. Carburetter to be modified to incorporate latest improvements to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GR.{George Ratcliffe} instructions, including .140 seat, .056 main jets, stronger choke spring, Also, subject to further decision, increase action of hand throttle and cantilever support for throttle counter-shaft in place of spherical bearing in crankcase. 6. Existing air silencer. 7. Existing exhaust system with rubber suspension LeC.5671. 8. Undersheets as instructed for 39-EX. 9. Latest four finger clutch with increased inertia and standard clutch housing to GCD.158. Clutch pedal servo for short travel pedal incorporating F.78332 clutch pedal. F.89650 Brazing of spring lever. F.89638 and Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}460 spring stays. Attend to play in link from pedal shaft to engine. 10. Standard engine coupling. 11.
