Herewith we send N. schs. 2570/74., shewing alternative proposals for the steering column box.

We have shewn the small worm and box on N. sch. 2574. because of the recent experimental report throwing doubt on the utility of the large worm, but as we think R.{Sir Henry Royce} will still require the large worm to be tried we have sent you the alternative scheme on N. sch. 2570.

We expect that we shall get some comments from R.{Sir Henry Royce}, and probably it is undesirable to detail until this.
