Vertical Text: Please RECEIPT and RETURN this Voucher to the Officer in Charge, Naval Store Depot, Coventry who should be communicated with if the above goods are not delivered within 14 days.
ANY DAMAGE or SHORTAGE TO BE NOTIFIED to RAILWAY AUTHORITIES at receiving station WITHIN THREE DAYS from date of delivery of this consignment.
Please receipt and return to Sender (see footnote). The sender should also be communicated with if the packages are not delivered within 10 days.
The packages, &c., referred to above, have been received in good order and condition. Signature of Consignee
Note—When receipted by the Consignee, he is to note above any delivery charge which may unavoidably have been paid and the reasons for paying it, so that double payment may be prevented, and he is then to return this Voucher to the sender (i.e., to the Officer at the depot from which the Stores were despatched) without delay.
All charges, including those for delivery, are to be paid by the sender and not by the consignee (see footnote).
