X4426 X1775 BJ. From Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} hsl/LG4.3.22. Referring to yourBJ9/H2.3.22 attached. The standard-isation sheets which are sent out from the Experimental Dept. Office. We act on the policy that it is our business to get parts standardised when they have proved satisfactory. We do not make the decision as to whether the part is going to be adopted or when it shall be adopted. In the case of the Hartford Shock Absorbers, we are fitting these shock absorbers to a great number of cars and we wish to standardise these shock absorbers in order that it shall be in line with the standardi-sation notices which are posted up all round the Works.
