X5380 - To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/M 5.7.27. NEW 20 HP. CHASSIS. X.5770 X.5380 With reference to the new 20 HP. chassis which you are anxious to build up, it is proposed that we should attempt to get it lower than the present 20 HP., and it looks as though we could gain about .750 by making a slight alteration to existing side channels. There are other modifications, not we believe of a very serious character, throughout the car, and we shall be sending you particulars of the proposed scheme in the course of a few days. If the side channel proposals are finally agreed to we shall be sending you particulars of them immediately. There is of course a considerable gain by using the 19" wheels, but our .750 is additional to this. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
