X7005 X7770 ENGINE MOUNTING 22-EX. We have now reached a point where we think we can stabilise a new engine mounting. The parts differing from standard are :- (1) Four Diabolo rubber engine feet. (2) Single point radiator mounting and tubular cross member under the radiator to N.Sch.3062. (3) 3" Tubular member attached to dumb irons.N.Sch.3037 Item - (1) We have a number of sets made. " (2) The D.O. are working on and we should be glad if they could issue as soon as possible. " (3) Has been detailed in the Exp. Dept. and the parts are made. We should like to fit the first set of these pieces to 22-EX at the first opportunity and prepare a second set, which will probably be fitted to 26-EX the Continental car. As we want to start on 26-EX it is essential that we should get them running on 22-EX without delay. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
