HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} ) FROM OL/WV. K4 33 WJD/E/2/16.12.31. V433 COPY to - SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} OIL-LESS BUSHES. In view of R's suggestion that we use oil-less bushes for the spring shackles, and at other suitable places, to avoid complication on Peregrine, we would be glad if you could send us a catalogue of such bearings, and a sample. To pressure test for the shackles the silent bloc is the one he has in mind, such as is used by Humber. In the meantime we go on with Peregrine as designed, but with "grouped oilers" attached to the lubrication pipes in the place of the dashboard pump. OL/WV. | ||
