Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} c. to CWB. BJS/D5.3.26. Visit to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence. With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG3.3.26, when any Experimental Chassis starts for 10,000 miles test with a view to its becoming standardised, please always arrange for Sales Department to have a similar chassis to start 10,000 miles at the same time. Presumably this 20 H.P. chassis referred to in your memo. is only going to R.{Sir Henry Royce} for approval and consideration of the numerous alterations, and not with a view to running 10,000 miles. Are you building a similar chassis that Sales could have for test when the items have been finally approved by Mr. Royce before starting on 10,000 miles? BJ. | ||
