+ 10202 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Mths.{Reg Matthews}7/MH.{M. Huckerby} Messrs. High Duty Alloys Ltd., Buckingham Avenue, Trading Estate, Slough, Bucks. 29th. October 1937. For the attention of Mr.H.G.Herrington. Dear Sirs, With reference to our letter of the 21st. inst., relating to the proposed visit to the Dennis Co., can you fix a definite date, say next Wednesday or Thursday the 3rd. or 4th. November ? The writer had hoped to be able to see the Dennis people this last week as suggested in our previous letter, but we can find no letter from you suggesting a date that would be suitable to Mr. Milne and your own representative. Will you, therefore, endeavour to fix one of the above dates for the Dennis visit as the writer expects to have to visit Leylands' one day next week, and Rovers' are going to let us know in the course of a day or so when their job will be running. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
