Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/LG ENCLO. 1. 3rd June 1929. For attention of W.A.Robotham, Esq., Messrs.Rolls-Royce,Ltd., Derby. Dear Sirs, With further reference to your drawing F.81020 of instrument patch, we enclose a sketch showing the side elevation of the dash unit body. There is no dimension shown on your drawing, (marked ? in red), indicating the depth of the casting. We were going to make this the same as our present dimension, i.e. 19/32", but upon scaling your blue-print we find that it measures 11/16". Will you please let us know to which dimension we are to work? This is not holding up work at the moment, as it is only a matter of machining the top and bottom portions which jut out from the front of the casting, and O.K. '59375 | ||
