WRAITH BOTTOM WATER CONNECTION.

The sample connection to EW.1633 supplied by The Leyland & Birmingham Rubber Co. Ltd. has been approved by By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}, but it may be necessary to modify the shape of this connection slightly in order to avoid a foul between the bottom water pipe and the engine.

Will you, therefore, instruct the Leyland & Birmingham Co. not to proceed with the manufacture of these connections until receipt of further instructions from us. We have already instructed them verbally to this effect over the telephone.
