To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X319 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/KW.28.11.35. We find that owing to the cylinder barrels of the SpectreCodename for Phantom III being steel and the crankcase aluminium, we get the trouble previously experienced on the Phantom II, of quantities of the aluminium hydroxide mixing with the iron and blocking up the radiator. Will you please ensure that no liners are fitted into SpectreCodename for Phantom III engines in the future unless they have some protective coat. Will you please ensure that No. 9 unit is treated in this way, before it is finally fitted to a car. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
