It is not of course easy to judge the operation of this starter motor scheme without actually running it on an engine, though it appears from the bench experiments that apart from the points mentioned, the operation should be very reliable and relatively silent. The auxiliary starter motor current attains a value of 30 amperes. The motor pinion is capable of being moved inwards in relation to the armature against a spring. The units will be brought down to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} for R's inspection. EFC. | ||
