Re your memo EFC/AD/30/5/30, I agree that it will be desirable to know something about the electrical revolution indicator made by Messrs The Record Electrical Co. Ltd.

Whilst the electrical instrument on the hangar is quite satisfactory, I do not know that Air Ministry approval is given to any other form of revolution indicator, other than the mechanically driven indicator.

I have written to the Air Ministry asking if they can arrange to supply on loan, one of these electtical indicators, so that we could check over the accuracy of the instrument and gain some idea as to its reliability.
