| To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. Mr. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Sft.{Mr Swift} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X2404 E.10/HP.31.8.33. Bentley Radiator and Shutters. Referring to the above, the thicker shells in .048" material should be ordered with the extra thickness added to the outside of the shape, so that the present cast iron die is used, and also the radius in the top corners of the opening for the shutters, that is, within the shoulders of the shell, should be reduced from 2.1 to 1.5 to allow room for the shutters on the outer edge to operate. We shall send to you a completed scheme for the shutters themselves tomorrow. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
