Dear Sirs: For the attention of Mr. West. In the absence of Mr. Nichols we beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 12th inst., regarding concave dial instruments returned to us for rectification. We will have these instruments rectified and returned to you as quickly as possible. We are rather afraid that the Oil Gauge trouble was due to the breaking up of the dial. A concave dial without tools is most difficult to make - it was, therefore, pieced up and soldered and this appears to have come adrift. We mention this because this could not happen with tool produced parts. However, the matter is having our careful attention. | ||
