GERRARD 0908. 9, REGENT STREET, LONDON, S.W.1. June 1st 1928. Dear Sir, I have been developing a small type of pump which is suitable for tyre inflation, and I would venture to ask if the matter is of possible interest to your engineering department. I had a sample of the pump when you were good enough to see me on another matter in January. It is now a very neat and efficient device. If possible I should like to make the exact pattern which would suit the Rolls-Royce chassis and requirements, and submit it for trial. If the matter is of sufficient interest, I shall be very pleased to know what further steps I may take. The drawing No. 1047 shows the general proportions of a pump constructed to this design. Yours faithfully, John Craig. P. Northey, Esq. | ||
