of these leaves over about 4 square inches of surface. If the ferodo does not promise to be successful, I think it would be wise to try the effect of other material, such as sheet brass. If a sheet of metal is fitted between the plates I think it will be found that half the longitudinal movement is taken on each side of the plate. Such metal as brass might also prevent seizure.
