CyS - S 7620 June 7th, 1920 X.3960 (4) Brake Linings. We have ordered from Frood's who promise good deliveries. Nothing here is equal to Ferodo we think. The Frood Co. intend to establish a plant in the U.S. which will give us all we require. (5) Radiators we intend to make here. Tubes can be obtained locally in brass. (6) Ball Bearings. We have promised this order to the Hess-Bright Co. in view of their making most of our thrust bearings. The end-thrust is a high quality bearing similar to the D.W.F. and with cages of the latest design which were found to be satisfactory. The Hess-Bright bearings are standard - practically all the good quality cars here. We may wish to avail ourselves of your offer to supply us with parts on several small parts, pressings, etc. on which the die-charges are excessive, but have so far aimed at making ourselves as far as possible independent of English sources of supply, as a matter of commercial policy. We have already sent orders for some of the parts and will let you have orders for any such additional parts we may require at the earliest possible moment. Oy. | ||
