25/30 & Bentley Crankshafts.

In reply to memo Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Ms.3/P. 9.3.37.

The first experimental Bentley unit fitted with the larger crankshaft will not be on test for several weeks and will require extensive tests on the road before standardising.

We would therefore say that on R.2. series 25/30.HP. and L. series Bentley we shall still have the standard crankshaft.

If, however, the tests are completed sooner than expected and the large crankshaft introduced on Bentley during L. series, then the remainder of the standard cranks can be used up on 25/30 as you suggest.
