1293 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Les, We should see who is making Duprene in this country & try to get some glands. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}21/E20.P.M. To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Luvax Dampers. Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}Dav. Referring to E.5/HP.19.5.37 I think that probably Symons' freedom from trouble from oil leaks with the Luvax dampers was what some one said at Derby, namely that they probably were not doing any real work. I quite agree, however, that, if rubber glands help them in the way indicated, we ought to try them immediately in place of asbestos and tallow which on the Nairobi run melted out. Sg.{Arthur F.
