X5900 CWB3/DN22.3.26. S/W - Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM CWB 10,000 miles Trials car for "S" (20 HP). I am requested by BJ to advise you that it is desired to test as soon as possible a 20 HP chassis generally similar to 10-G-3. The sub-frame fitted to 10.G.3 is not required. A Saloon body without partition will be fitted and the chassis will be required to have the raked steering. The weights of the body work &c. will be forwarded to you as soon as possible, so that you may arrange for correct springs. It is desired, if possible, that the hydraulic shock dampers should be fitted to the rear as well as front axle, so that our ultimate proposals on this matter can be tested. Will you please therefore proceed with the preparation of this chassis and will you advise us of the date when we may expect to receive it, so that the body may be brought forward and be in readiness?
