Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of yours of the 23rd inst., and thank you for the further particulars you give regarding the small rotary switch which you require. We have gone very carefully into the possibility of making up a switch embodying standard components, but we are afraid that it is impossible to make up a switch small enough for you to accommodate and that it would hardly be an economical proposition for us to make up a switch especially for you, coupled with the inevitable delay there would be in getting delivery, owing to having to make tools and obtain supplies. We venture to suggest that we think your requirements could be met from standard products of the minature switches that are on the market, used for such purposes as wireless switches, trafficators, etc., although at the moment we cannot give the name of anyone that we ourselves know, who actually make a switch that would just suit you. If you find it impossible to meet your requirements in this way and you yourselves have any tentative design in mind, we shall be pleased to go into the matter further and to put forward prices for a switch made up exactly to your design.
