X1509. Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}8/MJ. 22nd. March 1932. W.H. Colt Ltd., Bush House, Aldwych, LONDON.W.C.2. Dear Sirs, We are sending to you under separate cover, the remains of the modified fan which we received from you towards the end of last week. As was only to be expected, one of the fan blade envelopes flew off the first time the engine was run up, fortunately with no other damage exept to the fan. In view of this and of the results obtained with your bonnet ventilator we do not quite see that you have anything really satisfactory or useful to offer us, and we should be obliged if you will return to us the 20/25 HP. car fan which you have in your possession. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
