19th. July, 1939.

The S.U. Carburetter Co.Ltd.
Adderley Park,
BIRMINGHAM.8.

For the attention of Mr. Skinner.

Dear Sirs,

We are still having a little trouble, due to receiving carburetters from you which are not to our requested specification.

The first delivery of H.4's. are not complete in this respect, but we will write you later when we have had our Production Inspection's report.

The latest instance of this is in connection with the batch of 12 - H.6's. just received. These are in error as follows -

(1) Carb. needle should be W.O.3. Actually these are fitted with E.V. needles which in any case are suitable for use with .090" jets.

(2) No. 695 banjos have not been supplied.

(3) Banjos have been fitted to the float chamber lids, where they are not required. (we fit our own), see your specification No.403.

(4) Needle Seatings. should be .100 as previously requested, and noted in your own specification.

We will be obliged if you will supply the necessary correct parts for fitting to these carburetters and we will return the incorrect.
