Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/R.22.6.39. Attached is a weight analysis of 12-B-V.{VIENNA} coachwork. A further analysis will follow showing where the weight has been saved, and how exactly this compares with the standardised coachwork, but it is apparent that this body and fitting is almost 1½ cwts. lighter than that of 9.B.V. We are, therefore, particularly anxious to know how much of this weight reduction can be achieved at reasonable cost on the next batch of B.V. bodies. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
