FRONT BRAKES.
Please receive herewith tracing of
G.CD.397 showing modified Fixing of Front Brakes Expander
Unit.
The two studs are now locked by centre
punching, instead of by drilling for a pin as shown on
N.Sch.5191.
We have deleted the collar from the distance
piece, and instead of a castle nut and split pin we are using
a lock nut and spring washer.
These modifications bring the design into
line with the rear brakes shown on N.Sch.5178.
