C1/C27.1.28

Re CONTINENTAL PHANTOM.

With reference to HsG/L.25.1.28, we would like to arrange in connection with this as follows:-

1. B.J. to be advised as soon as the car arrives on Monday. He will then examine the appearance of it and try the seats.

2. P.H. and CWB to try the car.
He would also like Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} to try it on the road.

3. On Tuesday afternoon Sales Officials to examine it.

We would then like the views of all Officials as to whether the car is likely to be saleable for its purpose, and whether the body is the type that is likely to be sold in sufficient quantities to justify us in ordering a dozen.

B.J. particularly requests that any reports or criticisms of this car should be sent to him, and no copies made for circulation to R.{Sir Henry Royce} and technical officials.

Please note THE CAR IS NOT TO COME TO CONDUIT STREET but is to go to the Bond St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Garage; and it must not come near Conduit Street at any time in connection with its tests.

C.
